In observance of Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month, the Lincoln Theatre Association invites you to attend a special informational luncheon event featuring a presentation and dance demonstration from the Dancing Wheels Company and School.
Created and based in Cleveland since 1980, this professional, physically integrated dance company unites the talents of dancers both with and without disabilities to advocate for disability awareness and promote a message of inclusion and accessibility through performances from a repertory of more than 65 works of nationally esteemed choreographers. In 1990, The School of Dancing Wheels proudly opened its doors, and its state-of-the-art studios were soon regarded as a world-class training center for dancers, choreographers, and educators. Serving more than 6,500 students annually, the School teaches dance technique to all students of all abilities, seeking to promote self-awareness and self-confidence while embedding lessons of equality and inclusion.
