LINCOLN THEATRE DANCE INITIATIVE

The Lincoln Theatre Dance Initiative honors the theatre’s rich legacy by creating inclusive opportunities for dancers at all levels, ensuring everyone can move or be moved.

The Lincoln Theatre is dedicated to culture, community, and, of course, accessibility. Our history of hosting military balls and Big Band swing parties adds depth to the legacy we continue to build. With roots as a jazz house, we believe in the marriage between music and movement and in honor of that legacy, we’re proud to introduce our 11th signature program, the Lincoln Theatre Dance Initiative. This initiative will focus on creating both pre-professional and professional opportunities, nurturing talent at every level and staying true to our mission of supporting emerging artists and presenting high quality talent. We live strong in our commitment on community, accessibility, and inclusion—ensuring that everyone, regardless of background or experience, has the chance to participate in a welcoming and creatively engaging atmosphere.

Join us in this endeavor, whether you are a dancer or simply an admirer of the craft, we know once you arrive, you’ll certainly move or be moved!
