The Young Artist Development Expo (YADE) on August 17 will showcase emerging artists from the Columbus community. This event will feature a variety of art ideation sessions, local vendors, live performances, a DJ, and food, all dedicated to celebrating fresh creativity infused with culture.

Our Young Artist Development Program is modeled after our existing Expand Your Horizon Incubation program for adult artists, designed to provide hands-on and meaningful support to emerging talent. Participants will have the opportunity to engage with these seasoned artists and other art-based facilitators that will give valuable insights into the business of artmaking, including marketing, branding, and entrepreneurship. Throughout the day, selected young artists will showcase their own creative work to present at YADE.

The Lincoln understands that taking the first leap as a young artist and entrepreneur can be challenging, but you’re not alone. This event is about uplifting emerging creatives through education, engagement, and entertainment.

Calling All Young Artists!

Are you between the ages of 16 and 24 and ready to share your artwork? This is your chance to gain exposure and knowledge and possibly being featured at the Lincoln Theatre’s Young Artist Expo by showcasing your talent in a space that celebrates the next generation of artists!

Not a performer? There is also an opportunity to become a vendor. This portion of the Expo will assist in building confidence while pursuing your passion.
